Today, I have some very exciting news to share.
That’s because leading manufacturer ReSound has just launched their latest hearing aid technology, and the world of hearing care has gone crazy.
In this article, I’m going to share the reasons that these new hearing aids are revolutionizing the industry and why this technological breakthrough will change the way that patients use hearing aids.
Why A Technological Breakthrough Was Needed
From speaking to our patients, there have been two key struggles that they have with their current hearing technology.
Firstly, they have issues with battery life.
With some hearing aids requiring batteries to be changed, while others are rechargeable and hold a charge for around 15 hours, this can cause battery-life issues for users.
Especially if a user is active, works long hours, or don’t want to be constantly glued to a power point to recharge their devices.
Secondly, in 2013, ReSound launched a huge breakthrough where you could sync your hearing aids to your Apple iPhone or iPad.
Most other manufacturers have now followed, allowing you to stream music, podcasts, and calls directly from your cell to your hearing aids.
The problem is, 60% of US cell phones are Android, yet there has never been an integration between Android and hearing aids.
Why Is The ReSound LiNX Quattro So Special?
These ground-breaking hearing aids have gave us solutions to the above two issues, along with improving all the key features that ReSound’s hearing aids have become a patient favorite for.
Firstly, they’ve created the most powerful long-lasting rechargeable hearing aids on the market.
Previously, the best you could hope for was 15-24 hours of charge (much less if they were tasked with streaming music/calls) – but ReSound has blown this record out of the water with an incredible 30 hours of battery life.
They can even hold charge for 24 hours if you’re streaming for 50% of the time – making them the most powerful hearing aids ever created.
Best of all, they come with a small, sleek charger case that can be carried in your pocket or handbag, which charges your hearing aids.
You can put your hearing aids in this small case and they’ll automatically start charging; this super-charge allows you to have 30 hours of battery life in exchange for 3 hours of charging, 16 hours of battery life in exchange for a one-hour charge, or a mighty 2.7 hours of battery life in exchange for just ten minutes of charge.
If you live a busy life that requires you to be “out and about” – these new hearing aids will save you the inconvenience of flat batteries or being glued to a power point.
Secondly, these new hearing aids will soon be able to sync with both Apple and Android devices.
With so many Android users being alienated from the incredible technology of being able to sync your hearing aids with your cell/tablet, ReSound are working with Android to allow technology to sync together.
This is expected to be released on the next software update next year.
But if you’re an Android user, this means that you will be able to take advantage of ReSound’s app that links directly with your hearing aids, allowing you to check battery power, personalize your hearing aids, sooth tinnitus through background noise, and find your misplaced hearing aids effortlessly.
Best of all, your hearing aids can also be remotely tuned by your audiologist using “ReSound Assist,” allowing your hearing aids to be cared for and monitored, without having to schedule an appointment.
Schedule A Demonstration
We know that only reading about the features of the improved sound quality of hearing aids makes it difficult to comprehend the difference.
That’s why we highly recommend scheduling a complimentary demonstration to try this new technology for yourself.
During your demonstration, we’ll fit you with LiNX Quattro™ hearing aids, show you how they work, explain how the charger case works, and help you seamlessly sync them to your Apple or Android device.
You can then experience the incredible sound quality for yourself and make a decision to whether you’d like to take this incredible technology home and trade in your current devices with our “Buy Back Scheme” or continue with your current technology.
It’s all in a relaxed environment with no pressure – this is simply your opportunity to try our latest technology and make a decision for yourself.
